Central London Samaritan's provide confidential emotional support 24 hours a day.

How to Contact Us

Central London Samaritans offer confidential support to anyone passing through a crisis or thinking of taking their own life. We offer time and space for people to talk through whatever they are feeling.

We are not a religious or political organisation. We listen, we don't judge and we don't offer advice. We all go through difficult times and in our lives and talking about these difficulties can begin to make sense of them.

You can contact us by telephone, email or in person by coming to our branch in Central London.

Whatever you're going through, we'll go through it with you.

By Telephone

You can telephone Central London Samaritans any hour of the day or night, 365 days a year. You can use our local number - 020 7734 2800 - calls are charged at local rates if you are calling from within Greater London.

Your calls will show up on an itemised bill so, if this is a concern for you, please consider using a payphone or mobile telephone to contact us.

We do receive tens of thousands of calls every year so you may find it difficult to get through at times - please keep trying. If you do have problems getting through, you can try to call the Samaritans National number - 08457 90 90 90 - where your call will be answered by the nearest available Branch.

Visit Us in Person

Central London Samaritans welcomes visitors, 365 days a year between the hours of 9am and 9pm.  There is no need for an appointment.

On arriving, you will be shown to a waiting room, away from the hustle and bustle of Carnaby Street, where you'll be offered a hot drink.  We will arrange for a volunteer to see you as soon as possible.

You will then be taken to one of our quiet rooms where you will be able to talk in private and in complete confidence to a volunteer who will listen and support you.

At Central London Samaritans, we are fully accessible to wheelchair users and have  adapted WCs for disabled visitors and volunteers.

We are located at 46 Marshall Street W1F 9BF just behind Carnaby Street. The nearest tubes are Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus.  See map for details.
